My Old PSN Account and Previous PSN Downloads

If you read my piece on how I was able through the use of a PS3 able to install the "Turbo" Level of LittleBigPlanet PSP actually on my PSP. But it also meant changing the registration of my PSP, which only became a problem once it hit me "What about my old PSN account?". Let me tell you why I have 2 PSN accounts, I had one previously but it was pulled by Sony after their site was hacked. I was one of 1000s of people who suddenly had no PSN account. Really this was not an issue after Sony shut down its PSP servers. I really had only a couple of pennies in the account at the time it was closed. But now it's an issue, you see back in 2012 I have downloaded several PSP and PS1 titles really nothing more than just a handful of games 6 PS1 and 4 PSP games. The PS1 games are no issue, in fact out of the 6 there is only 1 I play regularly, as for the PSP games there are 2 I need to get an actual copy, nothing all that expensive. But the real problem is the demos I have quite a few that are no longer available as if this posting I have no idea the number that is currently unplayable.

My only advice is really if you're in the same position get another PSP specifically for PSN I wish I did that, oh what a mess I have gotten myself into.

Which only leaves the DLC, thankfully I can get what I no longer have access easily, most of what I use is free and is currently available through PSN. Which only leaves the pay DLC from Toy Story 3 PSP. Surprisingly I am not going to get it, for the reason those exact same levels are in the PS2 version right from the start and I do own a PS2 to play them on.

No Nonsense Review: Piyotama PSP

Currently available from PSN for just $2.99 and there was no psychical copy released I snatched this one up today. Yes, it's weird but also it is pure fun, as this review by CGR Undertow agrees.

Very addictive, pure challenge and damn fun.

What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2 PSP DLC Alert

I was going through the titles on PSN, when I checked out What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2 PSP it seems PSN has 2 FREE DLCs available.

WDIDTDTML!? 2: Day Without A Badman

Description

When the Overlord leaves the dungeon, you are tasked with the responsibility of protecting his (rather annoying) daughter. These new levels, monologued by the Overlord’s daughter, put you in charge of defeating a myriad of heroes for the sake of a damsel who is not so distressed.

and

WDIDTDTML!? 2: My Name is Shota

Description

Face off against Shota, the original main hero, as you get a glimpse of his side of the story. These new levels are narrated by the tragically unskilled and unlucky hero as he struggles to survive the rugged and adventurous life of those who answer the call to action.

No Nonsense Review: What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? PSP

I want to make something quite clear there are 2 versions of the game the original which is a PSN exclusive and the sequel which did see an actual psychical release and you can get that for around $20, both are currently $4.99 each on PSN.

As for the game it's 100% WEIRD!!!

I think I sorta got it figured out, even though I had to watch some videos to figure out how to make lizardmen. Like I said 100% weird, and even then that is being kind. So naturally, it's hard to rate this title. If you like what you see get it, if not try something else.

Sony's Solution to play PSP Games on the Vita

Found this on Kotaku.com

It seemed back in 2011 Sony had this plan to share PSP games with Vita Owners it was called the UMD Passport.
The article goes on to say: Starting Dec. 6, the UMD Passport service will start in Japan. Here's how it works: Download a free app called "UMD Registration Application". After that, enter your UMD game disc into your PSP, and according to the on-screen prompts, register your UMD via your PSN Account. The UMD will then be available for purchase.

Once the PS Vita is released in Japan on Dec. 17, you can then download the title on your new Sony handheld. According to Sony, the games will be available at an "agreeable price".

Currently, 40 game companies are offering 200 UMD titles as part of Sony's UMD Passport program. The digital versions of the games are priced anywhere between ¥100 (US$1.29) to ¥2,400 ($31).

Here is a selection of titles to give you an idea of how much the downloads cost on UMD Passport: Patapon 3 (¥1,000 or $13), Gran Turismo (¥1,000 or $13), Hot Shots Golf Portable 2 PSP the Best (¥500 or $6.40), Colin McRae: DiRT 2 (¥1,000 or $13), Dynasty Warriors: PSP the Best (¥500 or $6.40), Persona 3 Portable: PSP the Best (¥1,500 or $19), and Guilty Gear: Judgment (¥500 or $6.40).

This is not a full list of titles, and other companies, such as Konami and Capcom, are participating. Expect pricing and titles at a later date. Obviously, Sony did not disclose U.S. pricing, but one could assume that games priced at, for example, ¥500 would be priced at $5 in the U.S.
But as well all know this program never saw a US release. Would it of helped with Vita sales who knows.

No Nonsense Review: Kingdom of Paradise PSP

In the long debate between Graphics vs. Gameplay in what makes a good game there sits Kingdom of Paradise PSP. Graphically it is one of the looking games on the PSP, but gameplay one of the worse games that I have ever played. The town is laid out so you have to check out every building and everyone just to find out what you are looking for. Controls are horrible, and the actual story is bad. This game has no redeeming value other than having it in your collection.

No Nonsense Review: Pursuit Force Extreme Justice PSP

Shades of GTA, I have actually come across a game that is actually better than some GTA games and frankly, I never heard of it before. The game is called  Pursuit Force Extreme Justice PSP it may seem like a simple Police chase game at first. But not when you really get into it, oh sure you start out in a Police car chasing down criminals. But when you finally get up to it and jump on their car kill them all and use their car to chase down the next set. You got something really different here and quite excellent as well. Really I can not recommend this game enough.

PSP DLC HUGE UPDATE

I got to make something very clear quite a bit of PSP DLC is still available through PSN. It's just the way you have to get it is I admit a bit crazy. First of all, you have to get a PS3 if you don't already own one. Like I said it is crazy but it does work, I know I have done this. Next, go to the PlayStation Store on said PS3. I found their menu quite easy and I was able to find like I said PSP DLC, and as it was when the PSP servers were still Online about half of it is FREE. Including that patch for LittleBigPlanet PSP which I have been told makes the game more playable. Once you downloaded it to the PS3 HDD. Use your USB cable and connect it to your PSP. Then use the menu to copy it over the instructions are simple...but you must be online to do this.

I promise this does work.

Is It Still Possible to Download PSP DLC and Demos from PSN?

Is It Still Possible to Download PSP DLC and Demos from PSN? That has been on my mind ever since PSN shut down the PSP servers. I am happy to tell all my readers yes it is possible. Even though it is a very roundabout way of doing it. You have to do this via a PS3.

Really this all started just after the PSP servers were shut down. I was hoping for some time that it was possible to get the only 2 Download Levels for LittleBigPlanet PSP somewhere online. That answer quickly came out a big fat NO. Not even for the various programs that are supposed to help you install DLC onto a downloaded copy did not help at all.

Then eventually I saw one of the levels "Turbo" on the GameStop site and like a fool I ordered it. All that leads to a code which I entered on my PSN account that allowed me to download it...but only to a PS Vita or PS3. Let me tell you that the Vita option only worked if I had the game installed on it.

Fast forward to today I eventually decided to try out my PS3 and see what PSP content I could get. I saw the "Turbo" level and downloaded it to my PS3. Let me tell you it worked, I was also allowed to download a Little Big Planet theme but the only way to do both have your PSP connected to the PS3 via the PSP USB cable and be Online. It will ask you if you want to deactivate the old account connected to your PSP and it will copy over and it was 100% playable.

The LittleBigPlanet theme was a bonus I was checking out the page and I saw it as soon as I tried to download it. I was told that the PSP had to be connected and in seconds it was there.

So is it possible? Yes you just need a PS3 and a PSP with a USB cable.

WARNING!!!!

If you have any previous PSN downloads on your PSP be warned. If it not exactly the same login info you will be locked out from using those downloads. I discovered this the hard way after discovering I was not locked out from the 6 previous PSN game downloads and all of my DLC.

No Nonsense Review: Rainbow Islands Evolution PSP

Seriously when I played  Rainbow Islands Evolution I thought I was doing something wrong or missing something important in the game. After checking out a couple of vids on YouTube it turns out  Rainbow Islands Evolution...is the worst game on the PSP. Something I can so totally agree with, it's terrible. It is so bad that the DS version has a glitch that makes the game unbeatable.

No Nonsense Review: Fat Princess Fistful of Cake PSP

I first became aware of the Fat Princess games on the Vita, with a free download of Fat Princess Piece of Cake.

As you can see a game very much like Candy Crush only with more blood.

Well eventually I was able to get Fat Princess Fistful of Cake PSP

Which as you can see is more like a puzzle/ adventure game. In short, it's fun but also challenging I didn't realize at first that everything has to be completed within a limited amount of time. But also the gameplay isn't that obvious.

In fact here is what you must do in order to complete the very first level.

Phase 1 - Ugrade Warrior:
Once you spawn, pick up a warrior hat and go to the southern Tower. You need
this tower as it is the closest to the Metal. Once you've captured the tower,
wait for an enemy worker, kill it and get the worker hat.

Phase 2 - Switch to Advanced Warrior:
Unce you have 3 metal, go back to base and upgrade the warrior hat machine.
Switch to the advanced warrior as the charge attack will let you one hit kill
the archers that are protecting the Princess.

Phase 3 - Attack & Get Back Up:
Go towards the princess area. If you see any warriors, order them to FOLLOW.
There are two archers at the stairs going up to the prison area. Easy kills
with the advanced warrior charge. Two more archers in the prison area. Again,
easy kills.

Phase 4 - Rescue:
At the Princess area there are three cake slices. If you want to play it safe,
go feed two slices to the Blue Princess. Then take your own princess and run
back to base. WIN.

Call it a fun and challenging game that you need a guide to figure out what to do and with that I give it.

Review and Download of Tetris Homebrew PSP

Tetris on the PSP is an interesting story itself, first of all, did you know Tetris did get an official release on the PSP but not a physical copy only a digital release. But still, I can not explain why there is a PSP ISO and why there is no official announcement of a PSP release. To my amazement, the game is still available through the PSN but not in the US, only Asia, and Europe. Why that is, I do not know why, but I did find a Tetris Homebrew  it's an okay version. But I found the controls are very sluggish other than that it is playable.

But I have to give it 3 out of 10.

GO!Messanger The Lost PSP App

Although only available in Europe

Go!Messenger was a free Instant Messenger program for the PlayStation Portable. It was jointly developed by SCEE and BT. It was introduced to the system with the 3.90 firmware update and the Go!Messenger icon was added under Network. PSP users could communicate with PC users through Go!Messenger if the PC was running BT Softphone 2.

The software was announced on August 22, 2007 by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe at the 2007 Leipzig Games Convention, and was released on February 29, 2008. It allowed the Go!Cam to be used for video conferencing and voice chat.

When the service was functional, Go!Messenger allowed users to:
Send Instant Messages to each other
Video Chat with the Go!Cam
Send Video and Voice Messages to other PSP users

The only video of it I can find it's from 2008

Amazing that this app is so like what you can do on Discord and other apps today. The reason it failed was a lack of users.

This was a posted on eurogamer dot net that told of its demise

Sony has told the official PlayStation forums that the Go!Messenger service run in conjunction with BT will shut down at the end of March.

"The Go!Messenger service will be withdrawn by BT and Sony Computer Entertainment (SCEE) from 31 March 2009," a statement read.

"Although Go!Messenger brought innovative communications features to the PSP community, the service has not developed the base of users that we were hoping for."

Introduced in the 3.90 firmware for PSP this time last year, Go!Messenger is a free instant messaging program compatible with the Go!Cam for video chat.

In a brief FAQ about the shutdown, Sony elaborated: "Although it proved a popular concept, achieving a significant number of registrations, it didn't gain the number of regular users that BT and SCEE were aiming for."

The platform holder also said that "future products" will be released to take advantage of the Go!Cam.

So what finally took advantage of the GO!Cam? Better known as the PSP camera, just check out this video.

No Nonsense Review: Geronimo Stilton in The Kingdom of Fantasy PSP

What you are seeing is my own copy which I got eBay and shipped from England. In case anyone ever asks you, games from Europe do work on an American PSP.

So who is this Geronimo Stilton and why does he have his own game?

According to Wikipedia

In the series, the title character is a talking mouse who lives in New Mouse City on Mouse Island. A best-selling author, Geronimo Stilton works as a journalist and editor for the fictional newspaper The Rodent's Gazette. Has won Nobel prize two times.

He has a younger sister named Thea Stilton, a cousin named Trap Stilton, and a favorite little nephew, nine-year-old Benjamin Stilton. Geronimo is a nervous, mild-mannered mouse who would like nothing better than to live a quiet life, but he keeps getting involved in far-away adventures with Thea, Trap, and Benjamin, and sometimes Aunt Sweetfur. The books are written as though they are autobiographical adventure stories.

The work of an Italian author under a pseudonym, the series has become the most popular children's book series in Italy and the books have been translated into 35 languages.

Papercutz obtained the rights to publish English translations of the graphic novels of Geronimo Stilton. These retain some of the original names of the characters that were changed in the storybooks translated by Scholastic. For example, the English translations of the graphic novels by Papercutz continue to use the names "Patty Spring" and "Pandora", while the storybooks by Scholastic changed these names to Petunia Pretty Paws and Bugsy Wugsy, respectively.

...and he has his own site Geronimo Stilton.com

To the answer why 2 games, cashing in on his popularity.

So how his the gameplay?

Although made for kids, it is a fun and utterly delightful game filled with puzzles, and mini-games. The writing and the voice acting are solid. It doesn't talk down to anyone and hell if someone like me loves this game, anyone of any age will be delighted by it. But not hardcore gamers.

Here is a trailer so you get a better understanding of the gameplay.

Fun fact in 2013 this game and it's sequel Geronimo Stilton and the Return to The Kingdom of Fantasy was available here in the US on PSN and still is. Although it is cheaper to actually get a physical copy from eBay than pay the $15 PSN wants, I paid $12.49 for my copy and that did include shipping.

Little Big Planet PSP Online Then vs. Now

Some interesting turn of events has happened with Little Big Planet PSP. It turns out a lot of those free costumes and other things that were available when the PSP version of PSN was still online are back, including the patch, which Sony said would to fix some bugs within the game. But right now it seems the only way you can use any of this is on a PS Vita, including downloading a copy of the game, costumes, materials and even stickers. Now get this most of them are FREE, only a handful of items you still have to pay for such as 2 levels, some costumes and even a couple of theme packs.

Speaking of which I really don't think the LBP community back when the PSP was popular was even that active, to begin with. I may have set things up right before the game servers went down. Except for 6 fan-made levels, there was nothing else. Hardly even worth the effort, as all the levels are just too easy or just plain never end. I did download a save file which did include a couple of home made levels, but they were nothing short of terrible.

On the other hand Little Big Planet Vita even after being available for 6 years and some thinking it's servers were gone. Is going through a revival itself, I own a copy of that game. Once I installed the Online patch and found more than 20+ costumes available for free on PSN which are seemly available only if you have both, as you have to download them through the game itself. But that isn't all LBP fans, there are the 142 fan-made levels you can play and download, the 5 FREE Creator Packs Sony has made available. Plus you can play against other LBP fans online, I found at least 20 to as many as 40 the 2 times I checked.

In addition, there is a DC comic level for sale at PSN

Even though I do own a psychical copy of both games. I may pay for the download of the PSP version to see what Sony is up to, even those in the Vita community are wondering.

PSP Save Cheats

I know some including me have talked about the Gameshark PSP or some such cheat device. But a lot of devices are limited including the Gameshark which has to be activated by a site that is no longer is there unless you can find the program already installed on an old PC...which is very unlikely. Save Cheats are a different matter, they can work on all models on PSP, and all firmwares including custom firmware.

What are Save Cheats exactly, you know how PSP games create a game saves. But let us be honest not all of us including me are great at all the games we buy and need a little help sometimes. One of the first ones I ever used was for the Sega Genesis Collection. I simply went to Gamefaqs did a title search and there it is. Under the title 4th one from the left, it says Saves, click on it. Simply download the save you want, unzip it and place the folder in the Game Save folder on your PSP and you are done. But what have you done? Simply open up the entire game without ever playing it before. 99% of all the saves stored on Gamefaqs are exactly that. They unlock everything, and to my knowledge, you can only do this on the PSP. I may be wrong about the PS3 and other Sony consoles but I have never tried.

Are there any downsides to this? 1% of the saves don't work for various reasons. Otherwise, they are safe to use and you can get to whatever you want now without waiting.

No Nonsense Review: Blazing Dragons PS1

I have always had this thing for "Point and Click" games, and recently I downloaded a bunch of them and place them in my modded PSP.  Blazing Dragons is something unique, it's both fast-paced and fun, at least partially created by Terry Jones. No complicated puzzles here, no overly complicated clues. The items you need are easy to get, even the trickiest one takes less than 1 minute to acquire. The game is fairly straightforward, I think it's even better than the Discworld games which I have been playing for years.

No Nonsense Review: Scooby Doo! Who's Watching Who? PSP

As hard as it some may find this hard to believe up to this point I have never played a Scooby Doo game before and frankly really didn't know what to expect. But after playing it for a while I think I know. If you are looking for a game that hunts down clues, gathering evidence frankly Scooby Doo! Who's Watching Who? isn't it. At its heart, it's a fair action adventure game where you gather up clues in the shape of Magnifying Glasses as you work your way through the levels via 3 mini-games. There are interviews with suspects of course. The level design is good, you have to think through the levels. The standard enemies you face aren't all that bad. Health restores items namely Scooby Snacks are everywhere and so are save points. I almost forgot when you finish a mini-game you have to have to go see Velma, in order to analyze your clues via 2 different mini-games. But let us not forget you need a certain number of clues to pass each level so unless your an expert in this game, you will be playing them more than once. In order to go to the next level where you are more or less playing the same sort of mini-game yet again.

So is this game any good? I rate it good, but nothing exceptional. Good for the casual gamer and Scooby Doo fan. But not hardcore gamers, you will find this too easy. The game was rated E for Everyone after all.

6.5 / 10

TV on UMD: Viewtiful Joe

                                                                   Original Run

                                                  October 2, 2004 to September 24, 2005
                                                  Total Number of episodes 51

Plot

Following the games' storyline, movie lover Joe and his girlfriend Silvia enjoy a seemingly normal trip to the movies to see an action flick starring Joe's idol, Captain Blue, when suddenly the leader of the evil Jadow force reaches out of the screen and takes Silvia into the movie. Joe is forced to follow her by Captain Blue's mecha, Six Majin (renamed "Machine Six" in the English anime, and "Six Machine" in the Spanish dub), and meets Captain Blue in the flesh who grants Joe the power to become an action movie hero in his own right called Viewtiful Joe.

Media

Viewtiful Joe was produced by animation company Group TAC. The producer for the video game franchise, Atsushi Inaba, and his team gave Group TAC its character designs for the video games, as well as original character designs for the animated series.

The English version of the anime features voice acting by Jeff Nimoy, Philece Sampler, Mona Marshall, and Wendee Lee, among others. Bob Papenbrook, under the name John Smallberries, voiced Captain Blue for the show's first twenty-one English dubbed episodes. Papenbrook died on March 17, 2006, due to complications from a chronic lung condition, making Viewtiful Joe his final piece of work. He was replaced by Paul St. Peter for the remainder of the dub.

The U.S. broadcast began with the fifth episode, with the first three episodes not being shown until a month later. The show's pilot was localized in the United States by Phuuz entertainment. A few censoring edits were made to the English dubbed version of Viewtiful Joe. In Brazil and Spain, the show was aired completely uncut. In the English version, the name of Joe's flying machine, Six Machine, was renamed in the English dub to Machine Six. There is speculation that it was renamed because its original name sounded close to the phrase "sex machine". Also, Six Majin was renamed to Robo-Six. Joe's middle finger was edited out in his henshin transformation sequence. Silvia's super hero alter ego is renamed from "Sexy Silvia" (which was also used in the games) to "Go-Go Silvia". Sprocket's jumpsuit is always zipped up completely, though it was originally unzipped (showing large amounts of cleavage) and one of her signature moves was to zip it up. This move was eliminated in the dub by cutting out the scenes, resulting in Sprocket having much less screen time than in the original.

Although it was released on DVD, I could only confirm 8 three episode volumes were ever released. Meanwhile, only 1 three episodes UMD was ever released. In North America, Geneon partnered with Kids Foot Locker to promote the show by including DVDs with purchases at the shoe retailer.

Dare to Compare Megamind The Blue Defender on both the DS and PSP

You may not believe this but this whole thing started recently when I bought Wreck-It Ralph 3DS forgetting I already owned it on the DS. That was when I discovered the only difference between the 2 was graphics. The one on the 3DS had effects and they were sharper other than the other one, besides that zero difference.

The same can be said about Megamind The Blue Defender DS vs. Megamind The Blue Defender PSP. As far as gameplay goes they are absolutely identical.

                                                                   See for yourself

Megamind The Blue Defender DS

I know the video looks a little jerky but the game actually plays like that.

Now compare it to the PSP version

See what I am talking about, graphics are both smoother as well as sharper. But as far as gameplay goes...zero difference.

Overall both versions are good. But I think hardcore gamers might want to give this a pass as it might be a bit too easy for them. But for the casual gamer, it's a good game. Gameplay is interesting but not overly difficult. I give it a 6/10

No Nonsense Review: Discworld Noir PSP

Over the years I have played and very much enjoyed Discworld 1 and 2. I love the smooth control, the humor, and the downright craziness of the games. Frankly, I was excited when I found out that there was a 3rd Discworld game. Once I found the ISO I burned a copy and tried to play it on my modded PS1. I forgot to mention one thing the game is PAL, meaning it was released for European consoles. You know what happens when you place a PAL disc in a modded PS1? The disc actually spins backward, not having to much luck with PS1 emulators so I waited. Then I found this program that converts PS1 ISOs so they run on a modded PSP. Since the PSP is region free I thought I give it a try.

What I found was a game with HORRIBLE controls, pathic humor, and a system where not only you have to pick up items but get clues to give clues. My first attempt at playing it left me stuck, I didn't get a clue from someone, and could not use that same clue on another. I had no idea how I missed it. Frankly, I got stuck, even worse than when I got stuck playing Harvey Birdman. Right now I am wondering should I give the game a second chance. But believe me, this game should be avoided at all costs.

UMD on TV: Trigun

                                      Original run April 1, 1998 – September 30, 1998
                                                                    Episodes 26

PLOT
Trigun revolves around a man known as "Vash the Stampede" and two Bernardelli Insurance Society employees, Meryl Stryfe and Milly Thompson, who follow him around in order to minimize the damages inevitably caused by his appearance. Most of the damage attributed to Vash is actually caused by bounty hunters in pursuit of the sixty billion double dollar bounty on Vash's head for the destruction of the city of July. However, he cannot remember the incident due to retrograde amnesia, being able to recall only fragments of the destroyed city and memories of his childhood. Throughout his travels, Vash tries to save lives using non-lethal force. He is occasionally joined by a priest, Nicholas D. Wolfwood, who, like Vash, is a superb gunfighter with a mysterious past. As the series progresses, more about Vash's past and the history of human civilization on the planet Gunsmoke is revealed.

Media
Madhouse produced an anime series based on the manga, also titled Trigun. Directed by Satoshi Nishimura, the series was broadcast on TV Tokyo from April 1 to September 30, 1998. It is licensed for DVD and Blu-ray in the United States by Funimation Entertainment, who re-released it on DVD on October 27, 2010. The show failed to garner a large audience in Japan during its original showing in 1998 but gained a substantial fan base following its North American premiere on Cartoon Network in early 2003. Nightow has stated that due to the finality of the anime's ending, it is unlikely any continuation will be made. The UMD which only 2 episodes was released on December 13, 2005, by Geneon only 1 volume was ever released.

No Nonsense Review: Brunswick Bowling PSP

Yep, a bowling game on the PSP, simple to use, in fact, all most too simple. I managed to knock down all the pins with 2 balls the very first time I played this.

No Nonsense Review: Metal Gear Acid 2 PSP

Once I figured out exactly how to play this game. I found the absolute weirdest Metal Gear game period. Why is it so weird...read this...they combined action cards with a limited number of moves. Meaning you have to pick a card dealt with you. Make your pick, but you are limited by the cards.

I think this video explains things better

Weird I know

Overall 3/10 simply because there are better Metal Gear games out there.

No Nonsense Review: Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition PSP

Graphics are great, the menu system perfect, the controls are another matter you steer like your driving through pudding. I can only assume this is a drift racer. Which if it gives it a 9 out of 10, isn't 6/10

No Nonsense Review: Tekken Dark Resurrection PSP

You get 2 modes with this one Story and the other is Arcade Mode. Story modes give you a video ending for all characters, meanwhile, Arcade mode gives Tekken 6. This game is no button masher here, you actually need both skill and planning to get past the first couple of rounds. Graphics are excellent, controls fantastic, the AI which is very important in these types of games are spot on, perfect for what you get.

Overall score 10/10

No Nonsense Review: World's Champion Poker 2 PSP

Let me make one perfectly clear I am the worst card player, I have no card sense and I lose almost every single time. With that said World's Champion Poker 2 a great game whether you are great with cards or not. Controls are super easy, the fact you can make the game as difficult as you want beats any poker app I have seen. Graphics aren't much but after all, this is a card game, and not Rainbow Six.

No Nonsense Review: Street Supremacy PSP

As I was going through the menus trying to start the very first race. I had this funny feeling which interesting enough had turned true. I kid you not this is an RPG Racing game. At the start, you get access to 2 street tracks which are fantastic but they are both ways too short, you can beat either one in just over a minute. Really grinding to build up your level so you can go on longer tracks. I kid you not you really have to do this.

Which makes it really hard to review, if you don't mind RPG like grinding in a racing game you will love this. Another wise I would steer clear of this game.

UMD on TV: Beavis and Butt-Head: The Mike Judge Collection

March 8. 1993 to Nov 29, 2011
Total Number of episodes 222

Plot

The show centers on two socially incompetent, heavy metal-loving teenage delinquents, Beavis and Butt-Head (both voiced by Judge), who go to school at Highland High in Highland, Texas. They have no apparent adult supervision at home, are dim-witted, under-educated and barely literate. Both lack any empathy or moral scruples, even regarding each other. Their most common shared activity is watching music videos, which they tend to judge by deeming them "cool" or by exclaiming "This sucks!" (the latter is sometimes followed by the demand "Change it!"). They also apply these judgments to other things that they encounter, and will usually deem something "cool" if it is associated with heavy metal, violence, sex, destruction or the macabre. Despite having no experience with girls, their other signature traits are a shared obsession with sex, and their tendency to chuckle and giggle (“Heh heh heh!”) whenever they hear words or phrases that can even remotely be interpreted as sexual or scatological.

Though Beavis and Butt-Head are in ninth grade at Highland High School, their stupidity leads to a demotion all the way down to kindergarten in the episode "Held Back," but they soon prove to be such an annoyance that the elementary school principal quickly re-promotes them back to Highland High.

Each episode features frequent interstitial scenes in which they critique music videos using commentary improvised by Judge. The remainder of the episode depicts the duo embarking on some kind of scheme or adventure. Their teachers at Highland High are often at a loss as to how to deal with them, and in many episodes, they skip school altogether. Their actions sometimes result in serious consequences, but often for others, for which they themselves show no remorse whatsoever.

Media

Beavis and Butt-Head: The Mike Judge Collection is a series of three-disc DVD sets from MTV and Paramount Home Entertainment, each containing 40 Beavis and Butt-Head episodes handpicked by series creator Mike Judge plus supplements. The first entry in the series was released on November 8, 2005, while the final two volumes were released in 2006.

In 2007, the complete box set was released, which includes the content from all three volumes as well as the film, Beavis and Butt-Head Do America: the blurb on the back jokingly says that "if you're the kind of dedicated, determined Beavis and Butt-Head fan who eagerly bought Volumes 1, 2, and 3 of The Mike Judge Collection, well, uh... you just got screwed".

In 2012 the three volumes were reissued in a single DVD case format, as opposed to the earlier issues which included three DVD cases in a box.

The Mike Judge Collection was also released in three volumes in UMD format on the PlayStation Portable. Due to the limited space available on UMDs, the interviews, music videos, and other content was removed and the number of episodes on each collection was reduced.

On February 14, 2017, MTV released Beavis and Butt-Head - The Complete Collection, a 12-disc set containing all four previously released volumes of The Mike Judge Collection, along with a special collector's edition of Beavis and Butt-Head Do America.

Gameshark Media Manager for PSP Review

I bought a Gameshark Media Manager off of Amazon recently I was hoping to share what I find within that software and frankly what I got surprised me.

It seems all that software wants to do is connect the Gameshark dot com and that's it. Apparently the software is either incomplete or locked. But since that site is no longer around, all it gives are messages.

Overall even though the program did install, but in my opinion it is completely unusable.

I say more  collectors item than anything else. My advise if you get one keep it in the original package unless you actually need that connector cable.
