No Nonsense Review: Outrun 2006 Coast 2 Coast PSP

As soon as the title screen appeared the game had me, Outrun 2006 Coast 2 Coast is nothing more than an old fashioned Arcade Racing title with up to date graphics...up to PSP level that is. Let me tell you the game is GREAT, in fact, you actually get a choice of 2 Outrun games here. The second being Outrun 2 SP, which is at a faster pace than the main game. But both are just as fun and a solid 10/10

This game has a very unique feature, one of which I have never seen on any other game period. It seems if you have the PS2 version of this game you can actually swap game saves.

No Nonsense Review: Dissidia 012 [duodecim] Final Fantasy PSP

First of all this is a Final Fantasy fighting game. In fact one of the best fighters I ever played on the PSP, with enough variation such as RP and Battle modes makes it more likely you will give this game repeated gameplay.

This game does have one very unique feature which is. If say you have a save file from Dissidia Final Fantasy you can transfer that save over and unlock a special assist character.

10/10

No Nonsense Review: Monster Hunter Freedom 2 PSP

There is something wrong with a game, where you have to (at least I did) look at a gameplay vid on YouTube to get started and actually feel sorry for the animals your hunting. Yes, I do know they are nothing but polygons but I felt sorry for them. You literally come across like a bully in this game and I am really not joking.

Here is a video to prove my point

No Nonsense Review: SOCOM Fireteam Bravo U.S. Navy Seals 2 PSP

Literally one of the best FPS I had ever played. Controls are simple, the action is straightforward and there is nothing wrong with this game period.

No Nonsense Review: Lego Star Wars 3

Just your average Lego Star Wars game, except this game, has extremely long load times.

A Question of the Ages...DLC

Over the weekend I was looking for some DLC, namely extra tracks and vehicles for one of the Wipeout games on the PSP. It was then I began to realize that the DLC from nearly 99% of all PSP games are gone. In fact I dare anyone to try and find DLC for just 6 PSP games. I already know except for a handful of titles nothing is really out there. Then there was that promotion Playboy did in the mid 2000s with the PSP. It took me 2 years even to find the PSP wallpaper, and I have had zero luck with the rest of it. Namely the theme and the video.

I can guess what all of you are thinking...it's the PSP so what?!!! Sony only discontinued that handheld 3 years ago, and you still could access the Playstation store on the PSP until 2 years ago.

So now Sony sadly has discontinued the Vita and what about it's extras. What will happen in just 2 years? A repeat of what happened on the PSP?

No Nonsense Review: Gradius Collection PSP

Usually when I say you come across a collection of retro games that it is usually for retro fans only. Not when it comes to the Gradius Collection

Containing 4 of the greatest side-scrolling shooters ever made.

Gradius (1985)
Gradius II (1988)
Gradius III (1989)
Gradius IV (1999)

Although the game can be hard for some, you will NEVER get more of a challenge with this game. Because it is perfect.
