Is It Still Possible to Download PSP DLC and Demos from PSN?

Is It Still Possible to Download PSP DLC and Demos from PSN? That has been on my mind ever since PSN shut down the PSP servers. I am happy to tell all my readers yes it is possible. Even though it is a very roundabout way of doing it. You have to do this via a PS3.

Really this all started just after the PSP servers were shut down. I was hoping for some time that it was possible to get the only 2 Download Levels for LittleBigPlanet PSP somewhere online. That answer quickly came out a big fat NO. Not even for the various programs that are supposed to help you install DLC onto a downloaded copy did not help at all.

Then eventually I saw one of the levels "Turbo" on the GameStop site and like a fool I ordered it. All that leads to a code which I entered on my PSN account that allowed me to download it...but only to a PS Vita or PS3. Let me tell you that the Vita option only worked if I had the game installed on it.

Fast forward to today I eventually decided to try out my PS3 and see what PSP content I could get. I saw the "Turbo" level and downloaded it to my PS3. Let me tell you it worked, I was also allowed to download a Little Big Planet theme but the only way to do both have your PSP connected to the PS3 via the PSP USB cable and be Online. It will ask you if you want to deactivate the old account connected to your PSP and it will copy over and it was 100% playable.

The LittleBigPlanet theme was a bonus I was checking out the page and I saw it as soon as I tried to download it. I was told that the PSP had to be connected and in seconds it was there.

So is it possible? Yes you just need a PS3 and a PSP with a USB cable.

WARNING!!!!

If you have any previous PSN downloads on your PSP be warned. If it not exactly the same login info you will be locked out from using those downloads. I discovered this the hard way after discovering I was not locked out from the 6 previous PSN game downloads and all of my DLC.
