No Nonsense Review: Fat Princess Fistful of Cake PSP
I first became aware of the Fat Princess games on the Vita, with a free download of Fat Princess Piece of Cake.
As you can see a game very much like Candy Crush only with more blood.
Well eventually I was able to get Fat Princess Fistful of Cake PSP
Which as you can see is more like a puzzle/ adventure game. In short, it's fun but also challenging I didn't realize at first that everything has to be completed within a limited amount of time. But also the gameplay isn't that obvious.
In fact here is what you must do in order to complete the very first level.
Phase 1 - Ugrade Warrior:
Once you spawn, pick up a warrior hat and go to the southern Tower. You need
this tower as it is the closest to the Metal. Once you've captured the tower,
wait for an enemy worker, kill it and get the worker hat.
Phase 2 - Switch to Advanced Warrior:
Unce you have 3 metal, go back to base and upgrade the warrior hat machine.
Switch to the advanced warrior as the charge attack will let you one hit kill
the archers that are protecting the Princess.
Phase 3 - Attack & Get Back Up:
Go towards the princess area. If you see any warriors, order them to FOLLOW.
There are two archers at the stairs going up to the prison area. Easy kills
with the advanced warrior charge. Two more archers in the prison area. Again,
easy kills.
Phase 4 - Rescue:
At the Princess area there are three cake slices. If you want to play it safe,
go feed two slices to the Blue Princess. Then take your own princess and run
back to base. WIN.
Call it a fun and challenging game that you need a guide to figure out what to do and with that I give it.
6/ 10

Review and Download of Tetris Homebrew PSP
Tetris on the PSP is an interesting story itself, first of all, did you know Tetris did get an official release on the PSP but not a physical copy only a digital release. But still, I can not explain why there is a PSP ISO and why there is no official announcement of a PSP release. To my amazement, the game is still available through the PSN but not in the US, only Asia, and Europe. Why that is, I do not know why, but I did find a Tetris Homebrew it's an okay version. But I found the controls are very sluggish other than that it is playable.
But I have to give it 3 out of 10.

The EmuParadise Disaster
It happened folks Nintendo threatens to sue Emuparadise and it pulls all of it's ROMs. Oh, the site is still there but you can't download anything. So what is a gamer going to do?
Check out CD Romance in some ways they are actually better than Emuparadise as they have preformatted for the PSP European and Japanese as well as American PS1 titles.

GO!Messanger The Lost PSP App
Although only available in Europe
Go!Messenger was a free Instant Messenger program for the PlayStation Portable. It was jointly developed by SCEE and BT. It was introduced to the system with the 3.90 firmware update and the Go!Messenger icon was added under Network. PSP users could communicate with PC users through Go!Messenger if the PC was running BT Softphone 2.
The software was announced on August 22, 2007 by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe at the 2007 Leipzig Games Convention, and was released on February 29, 2008. It allowed the Go!Cam to be used for video conferencing and voice chat.
When the service was functional, Go!Messenger allowed users to:
Send Instant Messages to each other
Video Chat with the Go!Cam
Send Video and Voice Messages to other PSP users
The only video of it I can find it's from 2008
Amazing that this app is so like what you can do on Discord and other apps today. The reason it failed was a lack of users.
This was a posted on eurogamer dot net that told of its demise
"The Go!Messenger service will be withdrawn by BT and Sony Computer Entertainment (SCEE) from 31 March 2009," a statement read.
"Although Go!Messenger brought innovative communications features to the PSP community, the service has not developed the base of users that we were hoping for."
Introduced in the 3.90 firmware for PSP this time last year, Go!Messenger is a free instant messaging program compatible with the Go!Cam for video chat.
In a brief FAQ about the shutdown, Sony elaborated: "Although it proved a popular concept, achieving a significant number of registrations, it didn't gain the number of regular users that BT and SCEE were aiming for."
The platform holder also said that "future products" will be released to take advantage of the Go!Cam.
So what finally took advantage of the GO!Cam? Better known as the PSP camera, just check out this video.
