No Nonsense Review: Mana Khemia PSP
My biggest pet peeve about games are insanely long openings, Mana Khemia is no exception. It really lasts more than a half-hour, which is why I am including a 2nd opinion. The game is okay and plays well, but it isn't the sort of RPG everyone would like.
Overall score 7/ 10

No Nonsense Review: Corpse Party: Book of Shadows PSP
Once you start a new game it really looks like a very good, but spooky anime. Then it turns into a visual novel for a half-hour before the actual game starts. Guess what? It plays like Myst, meaning you are looking at an image and you might be able to click on something that affects the game. Overall very disappointing.

No Nonsense Review: Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights
Overall it's a good game, the betting aspect and the tracks are some of the best I have ever seen on the PSP. But really my biggest issue is the controls, I had difficulty steering my car. It would overcompensate every time.

This game includes slot machines, poker, blackjack, roulette, craps, baccarat, pai gow, Let It Ride and Casino War. Ironically it was developed by the same company who did the mobile version and to the best of my knowledge, it plays the same. For gamblers only.

Japan's Solution to PSP Games on the PS Vita
originally posted on kotaku.com by Brian Ashcraft the original article is from 2011
The PS Vita does not use UMDs. Instead, it uses cartridges and digital downloads. The UMD is going extinct, putting current PSP owners in a bind should they want to play their PSP titles on the Vita.
Today, Sony announced its solution: UMD Passport.
Starting Dec. 6, the UMD Passport service will start in Japan. Here's how it works: Download a free app called "UMD Registration Application". After that, enter your UMD game disc into your PSP, and according to the on-screen prompts, register your UMD via your PSN Account. The UMD will then be available for purchase.
Once the PS Vita is released in Japan on Dec. 17, you can then download the title on your new Sony handheld. According to Sony, the games will be available at an "agreeable price".
Currently, 40 game companies are offering 200 UMD titles as part of Sony's UMD Passport program. The digital versions of the games are priced anywhere between ¥100 (US$1.29) to ¥2,400 ($31).
Here is a selection of titles to give you an idea of how much the downloads cost on UMD Passport: Patapon 3 (¥1,000 or $13), Gran Turismo (¥1,000 or $13), Hot Shots Golf Portable 2 PSP the Best (¥500 or $6.40), Colin McRae: DiRT 2 (¥1,000 or $13), Dynasty Warriors: PSP the Best (¥500 or $6.40), Persona 3 Portable: PSP the Best (¥1,500 or $19), and Guilty Gear: Judgment (¥500 or $6.40).
This is not a full list of titles, and other companies, such as Konami and Capcom, are participating. Expect pricing and titles at a later date. Obviously, Sony did not disclose U.S. pricing, but one could assume that games priced at, for example, ¥500 would be priced at $5 in the U.S.
As mentioned above, the PlayStation Vita goes on sale in Japan on Dec. 17. It launches in North America and in Europe next year on Feb. 22.

The sad truth is no such program ever saw the light of day in both in Europe, North America or anywhere else in fact.

No Nonsense Review: Corpse Party PSP
Corpse Party actually surprised me as this is unlike any other game that I ever played, and I really mean that. You start out with a bunch of High School kids suddenly hit with an Earthquake while still at school and the next thing they know 2 of them are in the Elementary school of the Dead and that your somewhere in limbo. Your goal is to get the HELL out of there. There isn't a lot of action more looking around for clues that will help you escape. I used a walkthrough for 2 reasons #1 Not wanting a bad ending and #2 Because I had no idea what to do. That is the biggest fault of the game it gives you no clues only vague directions where to go. Even the walkthrough makes it very clear not hit certain points within the game YOU WILL GET THE BAD ENDING!!!
Overall the game is interesting, and the overall the gameplay isn't bad. I really feel this is more or less what the Scooby Doo games should be like, rather than what we got.
My overall score is 9/ 10

This is the 4th Ben 10 game on the PSP I ever played, and I swear except for the backgrounds of the various levels all of them are 100% the same. Transform into an alien beat other aliens up, keep repeating this until you reach an obstacle then repeat until you get to a boss. This game is simply boring.

Software Review: My Spanish Coach
I kid you not I did not even know about this until less than 10 days ago when I was going through a list of PSP games I should either buy or download. I decided to buy a copy because this is so unique, although not that expensive I paid around $7 for a complete copy on eBay including shipping. Even for a complete novice like me, My Spanish Coach is on par with mobile language learning apps such as Duolingo. You get to both see and hear the words then be tested on them until hopefully, it sinks in. But you can redo any lesson at any time, as long as you unlocked it, and that depends on your skill. Exactly like it is on Duolingo. Speaking of which you quickly get which words your not getting and can do independent study.
I give this software a 10 out of 10 for both ease of use and of how each lesson is presented more like a game rather than what you get with educational software.
I did forget something this software is compatible with a PSP headset which the software uses to help the user to speak the words correctly. I didn't even this existed until I found the following on Amazon today for $40 I am sure there have to be cheaper ones out there.
