No Nonsense Review: Rascal PS1

Is so terrible you have to pay me to play it again.

No Nonsense Review: MediEvil Resurrection PSP

Essentially MediEvil Resurrection is a remake of the original Medieval game on the PS1. But I would say MediEvil Resurrection is a far superior game as it fixes all the problems the original game had such as minor control and graphics issues. You want to play the first MediEvil game this is the one to play.

No Nonsense Review: ATV Offroad fury Blazing Trails PSP

As far as ATV racers go it's rather good. In fact, the only problem I ever had was that it is too easy to drive off the track.

No Nonsense Review: Pro Pinball PS1

Is so bad I can say the pinball game Microsoft used to include with Windows was a far better game.

No Nonsense Review: Ridge Racer PS1

At one point Ridge Racer was the hottest racing game there was. The sad fact now it has become extremely dated. Really the only reason to play this game now is nostalgia factor. Which is the same reason people still play racing games on the Genesis or any of the Atari consoles.

Not even worth a download.

No Nonsense Review: Beyond the Beyond PS1

What can I say about Beyond the Beyond, other than it's more than likely the most overlooked RPG that ever appeared on the PS1. First thing it's very unique, I swear there has been nothing like this made before or since. I can't really say if that is a good thing or in fact bad. As Beyond the Beyond is a game of extremes. Silly plot, interesting subplots, beautiful bosses, and some of the hardest puzzles you will ever find any RPG. When I last played it, one puzzle took me literally a month to figure out. It was one of those scrambled photo puzzles, which are normally easy for me. But this one also has to be done in a certain pattern or the puzzle can not be completed.

I would go as far as to say this game is worth a download, as it is worth a single play through. I can't say if anyone is going to like it, and this comes from a guy who only played his copy only once.

No Nonsense Review: Lumines 1 & 2 PSP

Since both games are so similar I thought I take them both on at the same time. Lumines is one of the most interesting puzzle games I ever played. Really it's very addictive, it's mechanics may be different then what you are used to. But that makes it even more of a challenge. If you love puzzle games you will simply love Lumines without question.

But I better include a video so you know what to expect

No Nonsense Review: Mercury Meltdown PSP

Is without a doubt one game that might cause you to throw your PSP out the nearest window. Why you're controlling a blob of mercury and have to use it to complete various puzzles. One warning this game is insanely hard.

One of which I better include a video to explain why

If you think this game looks easy, you need to find a copy ASAP.... otherwise AVOID!!!!

No Nonsense Review: Metal Slug X PS1

Totally fun

No Nonsense Review: Little Big Planet PSP

Is simply a great game with just one objective-getting from start to finish. The gameplay is simple and the graphics make it totally fun. If you played any other version you know what I  am talking about, this one is a delight to play.

No Nonsense Review: Disney's Lion King: Simba's Mighty Adventure PS1

Absolutely horrible

No Nonsense Review: Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars PSP

This version contains both Crazy Taxi 1 and 2. Really the only difference is the cities and in 2 you can jump. Crazy Taxi is an insanely fun game. One of which you can drive any way you like and not get into trouble for it, and what is better than that.

Overall score 10 out of 10

No Nonsense Review: Miami Vice the Game PSP

This game suffers from bad graphics and so-so gameplay. It is basically like any FPS you can think of, with a collecting element.

But not as exciting.

Honestly, G Force is a better game

No Nonsense Review: Disney's The Emperor's New Groove PS1

Strange game, half puzzle, half adventure. I wish I could say it's all good or bad, but there are things I love and things I hate.

Worth a download if only to try it out

No Nonsense Review: Rascal Racers PS1

I have always been curious about games produced by a companies you might have never heard about, one called Telegames. Generally every one of these games have been panned by critics, and this is no exception. I recently downloaded a copy, not only does the characters look creepy, but it has the worse controls of any video game I ever played.

Absolutely Horrible.

No Nonsense Review: Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire PSP

Out of all the Harry Potter games I ever played, I really like this one even though I admit I got a bit confused. Like any good game, it puts you in the heart of the action, and you really feel like a part of it. Okay, I admit I got stuck when I first played it and when I was finally able to play in Hogwarts and saw I needed collector cards. I really didn't know what to do, so I checked out YouTube. Found the cards were an option and all you needed was to hit the checkmark 3 times, one for each of your characters. But despite this it is still an excellent game, you can't go wrong with this.

No Nonsense Review: Untold Legends Brotherhood of the Blade PSP

I admit I only paid $2.50 for this game and after a few minutes of actual gameplay I knew why it was so cheap. What Untold Legends is a top down view RPG, one where you micro manage your stats. With the one character you fight with, that should either excite you or not. Me it's not, I found the game confusing at times...as in WTF where do I go. The NPCs tell you the name of the area but not its exact location. That it is one game where you really have to level up, in fact the game tells you that repeatedly in the very 1st area. Another thing I didn't like was certain aspects in most RPGs are done automatically like picking up something. In this case dead enemies so you can level up, as well as other items you collect.

Speaking of areas, when something does open up, it doesn't mean you are leveled up enough to survive it. I accidentally went into a dungeon on my 1st playthrough and died fast. I still can't figure out why...but I did.

If this sounds good to you, give Untold Legends a try. Otherwise avoid this one.

No Nonsense Review: Cars 2 PSP

Given the number of terrible Pixar film-based games, I really wasn't expecting much and I wasn't disappointed. Yet another sub-par movie tie in game, based upon a film some people actually love. The movie btw which only has 3 races in the entire film. I mention this because the entire game is a side-scrolling, obstacle course, racing game. One where some enemies fire at you.

In fact, the only thing good about this game is the opening FMV, it is a direct adaptation of the opening scene in the film. It's really that good, I really wish the game was that good. Really the only reason to buy it is for the opening, as for the game. A time killer at best.
