No Nonsense Review: Gex 3 Deep Cover Gecko PS1

I know there are a lot of bad reviews of this game, but I do have something good to say about this game. Controls are perfect and the levels are incredible. That never-ending chatter Gex is saying does get on your nerves. But each level has its own unique challenges, not to forget some levels are quite hard.  I will go on record to say the only way I was able to beat this game was using a perfect game cheat from a Playstation Underground disc and the ending was good.

Some might try and nail my hide to the nearest wall for this but I gave Gex 3 a score of 7/ 10

No Nonsense Review: Need for Speed Porsche Unleashed PS1

This is the first time I ever played a Need for Speed game on the PS1. From what I have seen an above average racer, who I will admit I did have trouble with the controls...at first. But once I had gotten used to them I found an excellent racing game.

No Nonsense Review: Beyond The Beyond PS1

If you even looked at a video of this game you know why I am starting with another view.

It is to show both graphics and gameplay and also that annoying random encounter that game can be. In addition to what was said in that video review, I have to add annoying puzzles and areas that are really puzzles and they are very annoying. For example, going through a cave system to get to the final area of the game and falling through the floor almost at random. Really the puzzles you have no choice but to defeat makes this game twice and long. Also, the final boss is one of the easiest final bosses that I have ever played.

No Nonsense Review: Donald Duck Goin' Quackers PS1

When I picked up Donald Duck Goin' Quackers PS1 I was really expecting more than what I got. Quackbusters on the Sega Genesis (Which also features Donald Duck) is a great game and you figure later hardware, 3D graphics it should be better right? Wrong, not that Donald Duck Goin' Quackers is not a terrible game, it's just incredibly average. If you are expecting more look somewhere else, I could really play this game with my eyes closed, except for the areas I have to jump, almost if not quite a boring game.

No Nonsense Review: Ms. Pac Man Maze Madness PS1

To why a sequel of this game was never made is beyond me. Ms. Pac Man Maze Madness PS1 is truly an excellent game. Think of a platform/ puzzle game all rolled into one. What you get are dots have HAVE TO BE COLLECTED before you can move on. In levels that are interesting in their own right. Every time you open a new part of the level, you are met with a new challenge, and the solution is not always simple.

This game is a challenge to players of any skill level, I even would expect even people who fly through a game would find this a bit challenging. But it's not unbeatable, and even the harder levels are not impossible, even though planning is required.

No Nonsense Review: The Italian Job PS1

Talk about a game that has not aged well. The Italian Job was released 2001 you think the graphics would be better, but this was a discount title when it was released. Basic Premise you get from point A to point B in a limited period of time. Only a couple of levels are both fun and challenging as for the rest. Let's just see how quick you are.

No Nonsense Review: Pac-Man World 20th Anniversary PS1

The very first Pac Man World game is fun, cheery and seemly easy. Any player no matter your skill could easily fly by the first couple of levels in less than 20 mins. But once you get around level 2 that is when the challenge begins. I know you can check out any video on this game and it seems really easy. But let me tell you to find all the items you need to complete some levels and to get through 2 especially difficult levels you could be on this game for a week a more because you keep dying. It's not that the game uses cheap deaths, it's just that your timing has to be perfect to get certain items. The inclusion of original style, Pac Man levels only make this more fun and more difficult as you progress in the game. Believe me, the final boss in this game is far from easy as possible.

Overall if you want a real challenge. give this game a try.

No Nonsense Review: Blazing Dragons PS1

I have always had this thing for "Point and Click" games, and recently I downloaded a bunch of them and place them in my modded PSP.  Blazing Dragons is something unique, it's both fast-paced and fun, at least partially created by Terry Jones. No complicated puzzles here, no overly complicated clues. The items you need are easy to get, even the trickiest one takes less than 1 minute to acquire. The game is fairly straightforward, I think it's even better than the Discworld games which I have been playing for years.

AVGN: Lightspan Adventures PS1

I know it's unusual for me to post a video here but in this case I found it necessary simply because I have NEVER heard of this before. I did check and this is 100% real, and found the discs are actually for sale right now on Ebay for roughly $40 per set. Other than that please checkout the video.
