No Nonsense Review: Bounty Hounds PSP

A sub-par game that's slow to start and gets repetitive fast

No Nonsense Review: Manhunt 2 PSP AKA Dexmor Hospital

Without a doubt THE CREEPIEST Game I have ever played. Very realist, very dark, the controls are set up in such a way that you feel that your actually killing someone.

As to the name both on the manual and the UMD which says Dexmore Hospital for the Criminally Insane. I believe was added more suspense to the game as this is where the game is set.

Overall score a very solid...but creepy 10

No Nonsense Review: Cars PSP

A nice pleasant "Cars" theme racer, but still a very average racer. The only redeeming quality this game has are the cut scenes that play between races.

No Nonsense Review: Tiger Woods PGA Tour PSP

Unlike later games in this series, the control scheme is easy, in fact, the game is very playable. But it does suffer from 1 HUGE problem...you can't tell how hard you hit the ball. Which makes overshooting any hole really easy to do.

Overall score 4/ 10

No Nonsense Review: Cid The Dummy PSP

Literally one of the most fun action-adventure games that I ever played.

                                                             Score a very solid 10

                                                                 WARNING

Cid The Dummy has a very frustrating bug. It won't recognize 4GB or larger Memory Sticks it will give you a warning telling you that is not enough space for a save file. It took buying a physical copy of the game before I realized this fact. The next smalled Memory Stick I own is 256MB and it does recognize it. Beyond that my only suggestion is either play the game straight through or look for a smaller memory stick, they are very easy to find and cheap.

PS2 Games with PSP Connectivity Part 2

I was able to get 3 PS2 games ATV Offroad Fury 4, Jax X and Gran Turismo 4 here are the results.

Under USB Connect in ATV Offroad Fury 4 PS2 I found that you are able to transfer both tracks and ghosts. I am unsure what the game means by ghosts as I only started to play it. I can say once you achieve certain goals in the game it is possible.

It seems both these games have truly hidden secrets. Jax X PS2 can actually scan your PS2 Memory Card for saves of any previous Jax and Daxter games which can unlock secret characters. I want to make this very clear you can't do this from the start of the game. Tracks must be completed of you can get the save for Daxter, otherwise, you can get it from here

Daxter Secrets

Connect Daxter to Jak X Combat Racing for the PS2 and you can unlock the option to toggle whether or not Daxter wears his goggles over his eyes.

Jax X Secrets

Daxter(PSP) Racers

Connect your PSP with the Daxter game to the PS2

Kaeden Scan for Secrets in Secrets Shop
Osmo Scan for Secrets in Secrets Shop
Taryn Scan for Secrets in Secrets Shop
Ximon Scan for Secrets in Secrets Shop

Daxtermobile

Connect the PSP game, Daxter to the Jak X: Combat Racing via a USB cable. You’ll unlock the Daxtermobile in Jak X: Combat Racing and other goodies for the Daxter PSP game.

Really except for finding that Gran Turismo 4 can take from GT3 game save turns out these 2 games cannot be connected.

No Nonsense Review: Ace Combat X Skies of Deception PSP

It's a great game if you are a fan of the Ace Combat series you really need to play this.

Overall score 9/ 10

PS2 Games with PSP Connectivity Part 1

I may of touched on this subject in a couple of reviews. But this seems to be the BIGGEST secret of the PSP during it own lifetime. Except for a couple of mentions on social media and Wikipedia there is almost nothing out there. On how connecting to certain PS2 games with a PSP you could transfer saves and unlock hidden items.

Yesterday I found a list of some 13 PSP games

ATV Offroad Fury
Crash Tag Team Racing
Daxter
FIFA 08
Gran Turismo
Formula One 2006
Madden NFL 06
Metal Gear Acid
Micro Machines V4
Outrun 2006
SOCUM Fireteam Bravo
Super Monkey Ball Adventure
WWE Smackdown! Vs. RAW 2006

That connects with a similar PS2 game

ATV Offroad Fury Pro  + ATV Offroad Fury 4
Crash Tag Team Racing + PS2 version
Daxter  + Jax X
FIFA 08 + PS2 version
Gran Turismo + Gran Turismo 4
Formula One 2006 + PS2 version
Madden NFL 06  + PS2 version
Metal Gear Acid + Metal Gear Solid 3
Micro Machines V4 + PS2 version
Outrun 2006 + PS2 version
SOCUM Fireteam Bravo + SOCUM 3
Super Monkey Ball Adventure + PS2 version
WWE Smackdown! Vs. RAW 2006 + PS2 version

Even though I do have a list of what each connection supposedly does I am reluctant to post it frankly. Mainly because I am totally unsure if it will even work or let alone how on earth you do this. But I will cover each game as I get them, and especially how you make this work.

Please Stand By for Part 2

No Nonsense Review: 300 March to Glory PSP

In both Real Life and in the film the 300 die in battle. It's a survival game and a poor one at that. I have seen better ones on the NES.

No Nonsense Review: Gex 3 Deep Cover Gecko PS1

I know there are a lot of bad reviews of this game, but I do have something good to say about this game. Controls are perfect and the levels are incredible. That never-ending chatter Gex is saying does get on your nerves. But each level has its own unique challenges, not to forget some levels are quite hard.  I will go on record to say the only way I was able to beat this game was using a perfect game cheat from a Playstation Underground disc and the ending was good.

Some might try and nail my hide to the nearest wall for this but I gave Gex 3 a score of 7/ 10

No Nonsense Review: Colin McRae Dirt 2 PSP

Average racer, controls take a bit getting used to. A very bland game, Stick with versions on other consoles.
